The most helpful book for me is the famous English novel Jane Eyre written by Charlotte Bronte. The heroine called Jane Eyre is outwardly of poor appearance but plucky , she posses great courage and indomitable spirit to battle against unfair fortune as the governess to the daughter of attractive Mr. Rochester. It encourages people to challenge fate and take a positive and independent attitude to fight for freedom and equality , thus allowing access to our own happiness.
The most important book for me is The Lord of the Rings. Yes, I am a big The Lord of the Rings fan, and I have read the whole The Lord of the Rings series for over ten times. The Lord of the Rings is important for me because it enlarges my imagination when I was in my childhood. And as I grow up, I still love reading it, since The Lord of the Rings series provide me a magical world to escape when I am bored of our real world.

In my opinion, television has more positive effects towards the modern society than its negative sides. First, from the news broadcasting on the television, we can get what is happening in the outside world even without stepping out our living room. And second, watching television with family members after supper is a good way to relax after a hard day’s work.
